Dead Space - Assets

Towards the end of 2021 I got the great opportunity to work on the Dead Space remake, but from the DICE office. I ended up being on the project for almost a year, and got the chance to work with both Motive's environment team and their modeling artists. This post is dedicated to the project's first half, when I worked with the modelers to create a variety of assets. I got to work on well-known pieces such as the Executive Shuttle, but also more exotic props that I and some DICE colleagues came up with ourselves.

A huge thank you to Room 8 Studio who provided us with great concept art for many of these models. I'd also like to thank the small (but excellent!) team that I got to work with throughout these months:

Created the Executive Shuttle's interiors together with my DICE colleague Anton Kavousi.
I was responsible for architecture, while Anton built the desks, chairs, and screens.

Made a ramp truck inbetween larger tasks, once again with Anton Kavousi. I made the body and Anton took care of wheels and smaller parts.
